It's good to be the king of sporting goods. The richest man in Missouri has just made another prestigious list that shows his wealth has now made him worth a stunning $9.3 billion dollars.

Forbes has just released their 2025 billionaires list and the first Missouri person you'll see on it is the same guy that topped the Missouri part of this list for the last few years - Johnny Morris. They say his real-time net worth is $9.3 billion dollars as of this moment.

Johnny Morris is the guy who founded a sporting goods place you may have heard of - Bass Pro Shops.

Johnny's story is interesting. As Forbes mentions on his billionaire's profile, he got his start in the early 1970's selling fishing tackle out of his dad's liquor store. His net worth reached $9.4 billion dollars last year and has only slid a little bit in 2025.
