With the April election over, it is finally time to drive around and view the landscape without any political signs. Do you realize that we have gone nearly two years with political signs adorning our neighborhoods and towns. Two years of Trump vs. Hilary combined with local races, followed by the signs that went up since November for the recently concluded April elections.

Maybe it is time to limit the amount of time we allow candidates to place signage obscuring the landscape. Perhaps a two month period of time might be efficient enough to make people aware a person is running for office. The same holds true for Newspaper, TV and Radio advertising. Oops, I just bit the hand that feeds me. Well, without a hand, I guess I can’t put another sign up.

Seriously, it sure is nice to see the grass and trees without a sign posted on or in front of it, at lease for a while.
