There are very few movies that bring Illinois to mind more than Ferris Bueller's Day Off. You can see many of the iconic scenes in that movie were really filmed in several Illinois places and a few that weren't, too.

Justin Root on YouTube recently visited many of the Illinois filming locations of Ferris Bueller's Day Off which debuted in theaters in 1986. Northbrook, Winnetka and Chicago are among the Illinois places that featured prominently in the motion picture.
