Iconic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Illinois Filming Locations Now

There are very few movies that bring Illinois to mind more than Ferris Bueller's Day Off. You can see many of the iconic scenes in that movie were really filmed in several Illinois places and a few that weren't, too.

Justin Root on YouTube recently visited many of the Illinois filming locations of Ferris Bueller's Day Off which debuted in theaters in 1986. Northbrook, Winnetka and Chicago are among the Illinois places that featured prominently in the motion picture.

It's good to take the time to look back at the places in Illinois that became famous set pieces for the escapades of Ferris Bueller and his friends. As Ferris used to say "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
