FBI: 2 Missouri Men Get Prison for Toddler Kidnapping
Two Missouri men are headed to prison for their decision to kidnap a helpless toddler in an effort to recover weapons according to the FBI.
The United States Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Missouri has announced that two Missouri men will both face serious prison time for what they did on August 10, 2023. Kendal “KD” White of St. Charles and Cam’Ron Henderson, 21, of St. Louis were found guilty of kidnapping a toddler when they kicked down a door to a home where they believed firearms were that had been stolen from them. The press release says that once they realized their weapons were not in the home, they threatened the mother and demanded she give them her 2-year-old. When she refused, they struck her over the head with a weapon and took the child.
When an Amber Alert was issued, the two Missouri men reportedly hired three women to return the child to her uncle's home. “This was an incredibly violent offense,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Szczucinski said during a hearing. Kendal "KD" White was sentenced to 20 years in prison while Cam'Ron Henderson was sentenced to 130 months. The St. Louis County Police Department and the FBI investigated the case.
