
FBI: $50K Reward for Illinois Man Known as Troubles
Law enforcement authorities in Illinois are look for a fugitive who's nickname is "Troubles" and they're offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to his capture. The FBI says he is considered armed and dangerous.
The FBI in Chicago just issued a bulletin on their social media pages alerting the public that suspect Joseph Matos is wanted and there's a reward for information that helps them capture him.
The FBI in Illinois shared additional information about why Joseph "Troubles" Matos is being sought. He is wanted in connection with the shooting death of National Guard member Chrys Carvajal on July 3, 2021. The FBI believes that Matos and another gang member of the Milwaukee Kings street gang followed Carvajal to his car after a party and shot him. Matos has been charged with murder- in-aid of racketeering and murder through the use of a firearm. The reward was previously $25,000, but has now been doubled.
What should you do if you have information about the whereabouts of Joseph "Troubles" Matos?
He is to be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Instead, the FBI says you should call their 24-hour number 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip at tips.fbi.gov.
