Mysterious Lights Appear Over Illinois Farm for 18 Months

It's safe to say that a majority of people have seen strange lights in the sky at one time or another. However, there's a new report from southeastern Illinois of mysterious lights that have been spotted every night for the past 18 months and they have video to prove it.

This new report on the National UFO Reporting Center site is from Effingham, Illinois

This eyewitness testimony was just shared a few days ago from an encounter that happened the night of November 13, 2025 near Effingham, Illinois. This is not just a one-off encounter, but something they say has been happening over farm land in this part of Illinois every night for the past 18 months. Here is a snippet of their exact words about what they've been seeing:

"Every single night, for over a year and half, for almost two hours a night, these white, orangish and reddish orbs flash on and go up the atmosphere and then flash off or leave the atmosphere. They are not satellites, airplanes, or drones...they have no beacon lights on them. They are silent and some are brighter than others and some are lower on the horizon than others."
