Dashcam Shows a Scary Drive Thru Chicago’s Most Dangerous Hoods

I can't tell you where the right place to be is, but this isn't it. A driver's dashcam showed what happened when he traveled through Chicago, Illinois' most dangerous neighborhoods and it's not for the faint of heart.

I want to be clear that I'm not inferring that anyone that appears in this video is involved in any criminal activities. However, data shows that the Chicago places this guy travels through are where violent crime lives.

I also admit that I live in the land of naive and prefer to stay there, but I'm pretty sure I saw some gang symbols flashed by more than a few of the people hanging out in the streets of the Windy City.

I am fortunate in my life to never have to live in a place like these Chicago neighborhoods where these people call home. I don't understand what must be necessary to thrive or even survive there. I live under a policy of never judging anyone until I've walked a mile in their shoes and I can't even fathom what a day in the life of these Chicago people might be like.

The only thing I'm certain of is I go out of my way to avoid these mean streets especially at night. Go places where bad things happen and you increase the chance that bad things will happen to you. I'll take a hard pass on that opportunity.
