US Doomsday Plane Secretly Flew Directly Over Illinois This Week
Here's something that happened this week that sounds terrifying, but really isn't. Or, at least I hope it isn't. A US "doomsday plane" flew directly over the heart of Illinois this week and virtually no one knew anything about it.
If you're not aware, when I mention "doomsday plane", I'm talking about the US Air Force Boeing 747-E4B
Here's how the Air Force describes the mission of the 747-E4B "Nightwatch" planes:
"In case of national emergency or destruction of ground command and control centers, the aircraft provides a highly survivable command, control and communications center to direct U.S. forces, execute emergency war orders, and coordinate actions by civil authorities."
I saw a share on YouTube by NY Prepper a few days ago that said a 747-E4B doomsday plane with the code name "VCTRY02" flew a path from Washington D.C. directly over Illinois in the middle of the day. Here's proof from Flight Aware:
Here's why this doomsday plane flight over Illinois isn't anything to worry about
While it's not common for Illinois to be in the flight path of these secret command and control planes, this one is easily explained. While we can't know who, it's likely this plane was transporting an official from Washington to Offutt Air Force Base in southeastern Nebraska. While there are tensions between the United States, Russia and Venezuela, this "doomsday plane" flight was likely nothing to be alarmed about. Just America's worst-case scenario planes doing what they are supposed to do which is make sure the nation is prepared if our worst nightmare ever comes true.
