Two individuals in Illinois are accused of behaving very badly as more than 1800 grams of methamphetamine was found during a traffic stop in the Land of Lincoln.

According to the Public Information Office of the Illinois State Police, two people were arrested on Interstate 80 westbound in Grundy County on Wednesday, November 13 at approximately 1:23pm. The state police allege that  39-year-old Tamiko L. Kearney from Marion, Iowa and 35-year-old Jonathan Q. Carter from Chicago, Illinois were pulled over in their Chevy Camaro after "numerous indicators of criminal activity were observed".

The subsequent investigation of the vehicle uncovered 1811 grams of meth. Both suspects were "taken into custody and transported to the Grundy County Jail pending a pre-trial release hearing" according to the Illinois State Police press release.
