Missouri Racetrack for Sale—Legendary Venue, $1M Price
If you have a passion for racing and a fairly deep pocketbook, a legendary Missouri racetrack could be yours for the cool price of just $1 million dollars.
If you talk to some of NASCAR's best drivers like Carl Edwards, Kenny Schrader and Tony Stewart, they are likely to tell you stories of races at the Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg, Missouri.
Now, this iconic Missouri racing venue can be yours...for a price
I've been able to confirm from at least two sources that Central Missouri Speedway is on the market now. Speed Sport and STL Racing are both reporting that the owner is making this historic Missouri racetrack available for $1,000,000. Earl and Susan Walls and are the current owners and have been for more than 3 decades.
Why is Central Missouri Speedway being sold?
Both reports mention that the Wells family has travel and family plans and believe now is the time to move on. The announcement was made by them during the driver's meeting before last week's races apparently. The racetrack sale includes numerous types of equipment, lighting and many of the different things you need to run a racetrack like this one. Let's hope whoever ends up taking the keys from the Wells family does as good a job as they've done for the past 31 years of Missouri racing.
