The internet thinks you should (and I quote) "flee Missouri as soon as possible". I'll explain why they're concerned about you.

I have spent more than a half century of my life as a St. Louis Cardinals fan and plan to spend the rest of my years as one also. Most of my friends are also St. Louis Cardinals diehards, but most will likely disagree with what I believe are 5 necessary steps to fix the Cardinals after a disastrous season.

There are some mysteries in life that I can't solve. Who invented liquid soap and why? I dunno. Why are women the ones who are required to dance backwards during waltzes? It's a dilemma. Also, why do people in other states hate Missouri so much? Let's try to figure it out.

I realize this will likely be an unpopular opinion, but I'm gonna let it fly anyway. I, for one, completely miss the Quincy and Hannibal K-Mart stores. Let me explain.

I am about to venture into dangerous territory because my wife is from Iowa. I love my wife. But, even she would maybe admit that drivers from the Hawkeye state have some...peculiar driving habits and this is my open letter to all of them as they frequently travel through my part of Missouri.

I can't wait until July is over. No, it's not that I hate summer because I don't. It's because the Major League Baseball trade deadline will be past and I won't have to listen to any more stupid theories about how the St. Louis Cardinals are gonna trade Nolan Arenado or Paul Goldschmidt. This is simply not gonna happen.

I have lived through so many different eras of St. Louis Cardinals baseball, I feel like a wily veteran who has seen everything. But, even I have never seen anything like the season they've had so far this year and I'd like to make this appeal to the team I've loved since birth.

Sometimes it's the small victories you learn to cherish. This is a great example. I saw the smallest of gestures recently that made a bigger than expected impact on me. It was a guy at a store in Missouri who voluntarily surrendered his shopping cart to a lady who needed one.

I'm very happy that Quincy, Illinois will finally have the long-rumored Target store it's always wanted. My excitement however is mixed with some fear though, too. Why? My prediction is that the grand opening will be an extinction level event and I'll explain why.

My mama used to tell me that if I didn't have something nice to say to say nothing at all. I probably should have taken her advice, but instead I'm gonna share 10 places in Missouri I wouldn't live in even if you paid me big bucks.
