Burlington Opening 50 New Stores Including 1 in Missouri in Days

With so many retail stores deciding to call it a day in 2025, it's refreshing to be able to pass along the word of an actual store opening. Burlington announced they're opening 50 new stores and there's one in Missouri that's opening in just a matter of days.

That's important to note as Cheapism just shared a story today saying that Burlington is opening 50 new stores in 24 different states. The lone new Burlington store in Missouri they say will be opening is located at 1927 Wentzville Parkway in Wentzville, Missouri which is the location of the former OfficeMax. The report goes on to say that this new Missouri Burlington store will be opening on October 17 which is just over two weeks from the date of this writing.

There are also 3 new Burlington stores opening in Illinois at these addresses:

• Algonquin: 175 Randall Rd–Opening October 3
• Chicago: 7507 N Clark St–Opening October 24
• Chicago: 2554 N Narragansett Ave–Opening November 1

I've seen other reports claiming Burlington will be opening 60 stores instead of just 50 and that 26 states will be included instead of 24. No matter what the exact number is, it's good to see new shopping options arriving in Missouri and Illinois.
