If you are a Blues music fan you sure are blessed to live around here. With the Blues in The District all summer, the Rollin' on The River Blues Festival in Keokuk and the weekly blues jam sessions at The Club Tavern in Quincy there are plenty of opportunities to listen to some great blues music.  Another fabulous opportunity is coming up this Friday and Saturday in Peoria as the Peoria Blues & Heritage Music Festival will take place on the riverfront there. This year's headliner is the legendary Buddy Guy who will perform Friday night.

Other nationally known blues performers at the Festival include The Robert Cray Band, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Ben Folds, Anthony Gomes and Shooter Jennings (Waylon Jennings son) just to name a few.
