Famous YouTuber Shares Pursuit of Mythical 10-Point Illinois Buck

What happens when famous YouTube personalities come to Illinois during the rut? An epic hunt that resulted in a quest to locate and take down a mythical 10-point buck is the answer.

Jimmie John & Mark Wimpy from the Bone Collector YouTube channel just shared this adventure where they came to Illinois and hunted in what they referred to as "the penthouse" which means a mighty fancy elevated stand. These guys have more than 176,000 followers on YouTube currently which means they are way more popular than I am. Admittedly, that's not a high bar to clear.

This is "the penthouse" (for deer) in Illinois they camped out in.

Their focus was on a massive 10-point buck they knew was lurking in the nearby woods. Eventually, he would venture out into the open where these guys could spot him.

A quick word of warning. This is hunting and these guys are bow hunters, so if you don't like seeing a deer get hunted, do not watch this as (spoiler alert), it does not end well for this beautiful 10-point buck.

I never had enough patience to hunt. I admire the guys that are good at it and it's obvious that Jimmy John and Mark Wimpy are. That's why they're more than worth a follow on YouTube if you enjoy hunting. It appears they thoroughly enjoyed their Illinois trip.
