Looks can be deceiving. If I were walking by this Missouri building, I'd never guess that there's apparently an epic steakhouse hiding inside. A new ranking says that it's the best place for steaks in the entire state and maybe even the Midwestern region.

This brand new ranking from 24/7 Tempo on MSN reveals (allegedly) a new Missouri steakhouse king. It's located in the old Kansas City, Missouri Board of Trade building which is why you'd never guess there's a steakhouse inside unless someone told you.

This is Stock Hill and it's a massive 14,000 square foot steak restaurant in Kansas City that the ranking says sources it's meat locally. If you look at their menu online, you'll see the expected KC Strip and Filet Mignon, but also some other more exotic Australian and Japanese options.

The ranking says the Kansas City's Stock Hill features "a daily changing selection of prime steaks dry-aged in-house". Considering how many legendary local steakhouses call Missouri home, it's high praise to have your location ranked higher than the rest. Is it really the best? Food is a very subjective thing, but the Trip Advisor rankings seem to agree that Stock Hill is at the very least one of the best steakhouses in the Midwest.
