A school is only as good as its teachers which is why a new ranking of Missouri school districts if vital. It spells out the 10 school districts in the state known for having the best instructors.

The fact that I didn't turn out smarter certainly is not their fault. Niche has just released their new 2026 rankings of schools and they say these are the school districts in Missouri with the best teachers.

1 - Ladue School District

2 - School District of Clayton

3 - Kirkwood School District

4 - Rockwood R-VI School District

5 - Webster Groves School District

6 - Lee's Summit R-VII School District

7 - Brentwood School District

8 - Parkway School District

9 - Blue Springs R-IV School District

10 - Fort Zumwalt R-II School District

Honorable mention goes to Francis Howell School District, Gateway Science Academy of St. Louis, Maplewood-Richmond Heights School District, Webb City R-7 School District and Nixa Public Schools who also ended up in the top 15 with perfect teacher grades of A.

One thing I really like about Niche's rating system is you can select different categories like academics, teachers, sports or diversity depending on what the priority is for you and your family for your kid's education. While all are important, I can't think of a more important metric than the quality of teachers to determine which school districts are best. All of those listed here are the best of the best.
