America’s Best Chinese Food is a Family-Owned Place in Missouri
When I think of Missouri, I think of a lot of things, but one of those things is not Chinese food. Perhaps I should reconsider as a family-owned place in the state was just named one of the best places to enjoy Chinese food in America.
There's a new ranking just shared a few days ago from Love Food. They determined which restaurants in the United States were dishing up the best Chinese food saying "selections are based on genuine user reviews, awards and accolades, and the first-hand experience of our team".
What Missouri restaurant was honored for its Chinese food?
Congratulations to Wonton King in University City, Missouri which has also been recognized as the first Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant in the St. Louis area. As their official website says, they are a family-owned local restaurant founded by Willian Huynh and his wife, Ling Y. Dai.
Their history shows that Wonton King was founded way back in 2001 at this very unassuming spot on Olive Boulevard in University City.
Pretty cool that after nearly 24 years in business that they've now been recognized on a national level for being one of the best places you can enjoy Chinese food in America. Quite an honor for a Missouri restaurant.
