Best Burrito in Missouri Found at 30 Family Spots

If you seek burrito greatness in Missouri, you fortunately have a lot of options. However, one group of family-owned restaurants have been called out as having the best burrito you can get anywhere else in the state.

A brand new ranking just shared by Cheapism names the best burrito in each state. For Missouri, they chose a family-owned group that was founded by in 1990.

Congrats to El Maguey who have at least 30 restaurants in Missouri according to their official site. The 9 locations on the Missouri side of Kansas City get mentioned in the best of ranking, but they're also found in Martin City, Columbia, O'Fallon, Wentzville and Blue Springs just to name a few. They are very much a Missouri family restaurant success story. I've seen many who share their journeys on YouTube mention this Mexican food chain.

I can't remember ever meeting a burrito that I didn't like, but I don't recall ever stopping in any of the many El Maguey locations in Missouri. My loss, I suppose. Based on the Cheapism shoutout and the numerous YouTubers that document their visits there, they're obviously doing something right. If you're gonna excel at anything in life, burritos is a great subject to nail. Kudos to this family-owned brand for getting some national burrito attention.
