If you're in the mood for an old-school cruise, you've got another chance to get your preferred vehicle out of the garage in Hannibal on Saturday, July 17.

Thanks to Gina Branham for alerting me to this momentous event in my hometown. It's 2021 Throwback Cruise #2 as shared on their event Facebook page. Here are the details they shared on that page about what this is all about:

Gonna have 4 cruises this year. That's right, 4! We are gonna start in June and have one a month through September. June 12th, July 17th, August 14th, and finish on September 18th. Hopefully everyone will be able to make it to at least one. We did this every night in the 80's. It's a way to meet up with old friends and meet new ones. Actually talk with people face to face and check out some good old fashion American Muscle! Every Car, Truck, Bike, tennis shoe are welcome. Come out and cruise Broadway and have some fun. As always obey all traffic laws and if you have food or drinks please take your trash with you. Let's be safe and have a great summer. 😎

Full disclosure: when I was in high school, I had a 1982 Firebird. It was sweet. I would drive it up and down Broadway in Hannibal and eventually park in the old Hardee's parking lot in the Huck Finn Shopping Center. Full disclosure #2: now I drive a family vehicle with 3rd row seating for all of my children. It goes a maximum of 25 mph. (*sigh*) But, enough with my struggles.
