Soon You’ll Be Able to Drive Across Illinois in a PC Game
Have you ever wanted to drive the entire length of famous Route 66 without having to leave your home? Soon, that will be possible as a new video tease shows Illinois and Route 66 will soon be drivable in a new PC game.
I am a big fan of American Truck Simulator from SCS Software. According to my Steam stats, I've invested more than 1,200 hours into it so far. If you're not familiar with the game, it allows you to build your own trucking company and deliver goods all across America, but the map is still incomplete as they began in California and have slowly made their way across the rest of the country.
There's a brand new video tease that reveals Illinois is the next state to be added to American Truck Simulator. It talks about "reaching the end" meaning Route 66. Look at the thumbnail for their video share which reveals Illinois.
If you watch the short :27 second teaser video, you'll see a corn field in Illinois with a Route 66 sign next to it.
We also know that Missouri will be added to the game even before Illinois as its release should be in the next week or two. It will feature landmarks all around the Show Me State, too.
I highly recommend this game as it's one of the most chill experiences you can have on a computer. The fact that we'll be able to deliver goods across Missouri and Illinois makes it even better.
