On the Adams County Fair Facebook page they said...

"After weeks of discussions with the local health department, local county emergency management, local and state leaders as well as fellow county fair boards, it has become clear that the guidelines of the phased Restore Illinois plan do not allow a feasible option for this year’s Adams County Fair event to be held."

I for one am not shocked by this announcement at all. The writing has been on the wall for county fair cancellations in the state of Illinois since Governor Pritzker announced his restore Illinois plan. If we aren't allowed in the state of Illinois to gather in groups of more then 50 people until phase 5, and there is no date for phase 5 since it's based on a cure/vaccine for COVID-19, there was just no way for the Adams County Fair or any county fair in Illinois to have a chance at happening. What are your thoughts on the cancellation of the Adams County Fair?
