See Inside This Abandoned Missouri Hospital and Nursing Home
Time is merciless in what it does to buildings that are left empty. There's new evidence of this as urban explorers have taken a look inside what used to be a hospital and eventually nursing home in Missouri as time is causing massive decay in buildings that look like they have been frozen in time.
If you're interested in urban exploration of abandoned places, I highly recommend following obsoleteVoids on YouTube. She and her team often explore Missouri locations that have long been left behind. Her newest adventure is inside Northview Village, aka the former DePaul Hospital located at 2415 Kingshighway Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri.
Inside, they found hundreds of rooms and hallways many of which still had personal belongings from former residents left behind. OK, so who wants to go down the creepy abandoned St. Louis nursing home hallway first?

According to information I've been able to locate, this St. Louis nursing home closed without warning on December 15, 2023. Here's one of the views from inside the abandoned nursing home looking at one of the courtyards that's enclosed between these huge empty structures.

As they were investigating the many rooms, I was taken by the personal belongings of those who used to live there that were just left behind. Those were the memories of family members and patients that have been left to decay as time has its way with the structures. I know that restoring that facility would cost a fortune, but you'd think that someone could at least go through the patients rooms and clean up the personal things. How sad that this is their legacy.
