A New York-Style Pizza Joint Just Opened in St. Charles, Missouri

It's nice to be sharing news of a restaurant opening and not a closing for a change and this is a unique one. If you crave New York-style pizza in Missouri, you need to make a bee line to St. Charles as a new joint offering that just opened.

I came across one lone Yelp review that clued me in to the fact that there was a new pizza option in St. Charles, Missouri. At the end of January 2025, one guy said that La Pizza St. Charles was now open at 340 N. Main Street which, if memory serves me right (doubtful), that was the place where Talayna's used to be.

If there's one thing I love, it's investigative work that involves pizza so I was pleased to find their official Facebook/Meta page which shows they opened at this St. Charles location on January 28, 2025. This is their second location in the St. Louis area and I hear glowing reviews from those who have supported them at their first place.

I just found it interesting that a New York-style pizza place would have so much success in St. Louis, the city that has its own style of pizza. If variety is the spice of life, then our Missouri lives just got spicier I suppose. Let's hope this new restaurant opening is successful and that we'll see many more to come.
