According to Timeout.com Chicago, Illinois is home to 2 of the 10 best rooftop bars in the whole United States. The site came out with a list that actually ranks the top 15 rooftop bars in the country, and Chicago is home to the rooftop bars that take the 3rd and 9th spots on the list. Coming in 3rd is the legendary Chicago rooftop called Cindy's, what makes Cindy's so amazing is it is located right off of Chicago's beautiful Millenium park on top of the Chicago Athletic Club, on the site they say...

"Though the cocktails are the main draw of this beautiful rooftop terrace, guests can nosh on small bites like spiced pepitas and cheese and charcuterie boards, piled high with local selections, preserves and grilled bread."

The other bar that makes the list is The Parker J. coming in at the 9th spot, this rooftop bar is located along Chicago's northside Lincoln Park, and it is a year-round rooftop bar.

The number 1 rooftop bar in the country according to this list? It's a place called the High Rooftop Lounge in Los Angeles, if you want to learn more about all these bars check out the complete list for yourself by clicking here!

I have been to Cindy's and it really is a special place, I highly recommend it, the other bars on this list all look fantastic and are bars I'd certainly love to have a Miller Lite at. I wish Quincy, IL had a couple of rooftop bars overlooking the city and the Mississippi River, I would pay good money to drink a beer watching the sunset over the river during a summer evening in Quincy.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
