11 New Covid-19 Cases Reported in Adams County

The Adams County Health Department reports 10 females and 1 male have just been added to confirmed Covid cases as of Thursday.

The females range in age from 30's to 60's.  The one male is reported to be in his 20's.

Currently there are 75 active cases in Adams County, with 9 individuals hospitalized, Two of those are in ICU. The seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total test is 3.31%.

Officials say positive cases in Adams County now total 359.  The death toll increased to 2 on Wednesday, after the death of a female in her 90's.

On Wednesday, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced 1,393 new confirmed Covid cases in the state, including 18 additional deaths.The IDPH reported the state total was 175,124 cases including 7,462 deaths in 102 Illinois counties.
