I am happy for those that have success so I'd hope that this will not come across as jealous or envious. There's a new winner in the sweepstakes for the snobbiest place in Missouri and I understand they would prefer that none of us come over for a visit.

This is not my list for snobbiest places in Missouri. Between you and me, I've known people from this Missouri city and they're very kind in real life. Oh, wait. No, come to think of it, no one in this Missouri place will give me the time of day because they're kings and queens and I am a peasant.

What is the snobbiest city in Missouri for 2023?

According to my snarky friends and Roadsnacks, it's none other than LaDue, Missouri. I drove through LaDue once when I was taking the family to Six Flags. It's nice. Come to think of it, I think we were chased away by security dogs.

Why is LaDue considered "snobby"?

Roadsnacks considers higher education and income and home values as big factors in being "snobby". LaDue has that in spades as 85% of their population have what is considered "higher education".

But, wow, the homes in LaDue are super-nice. Seriously, I'm pretty sure the people are nice, too...or so I hope.

As the real estate guy mentions in the Living St. Louis YouTube video, the prices for homes in LaDue are in the upper-echelon for property in Missouri. Land alone will cost you nearly seven figures.

I'd like to add that Mr. and Mrs. Howell were some of my favorite characters on Gilligan's Island, so it's not like I don't like rich people. LaDue has lots of them. Just don't come over for dinner, please.
