Sometimes you learn things then later wish you hadn't. This is one of those for me, but it's important to get the issue out in the open so hopefully it can be dealt with and we find a way to stop it from happening in the future. Illinois has a shameful surge of rape cases that make it one of the primary problem places in America.

If you try to be an optimistic person, I have a new report on violent crime in Missouri that might just give you additional hope. It's certainly not all good news, but there appears to be a silver lining to the storm cloud of violence in the Show Me State.

You hear a lot about many types of crime in Illinois, but this is one trend it seems few want to actually discuss. The Land of Lincoln is seeing a disturbing rise in one category in particular that should never happen.

That's the only way to describe the emotions of sharing the story of a Missouri man who is accused of stealing $1,500 worth of adult 'toys' from a Berkeley, Missouri 'store' and then trying to sell them on social media.

Just when you thought the gang problem in Illinois couldn't get any worse, it does and it has. There's concrete proof that a gang that has created havoc in Venezuela is now active and on the streets of Illinois.

We unfortunately do not live in the world of comic books where superheroes always catch the bad guy. In our reality, there are real alleged felons that are on the run from the law. According to the state of Illinois, these are the top 10 most wanted fugitives as of right now.

I've heard it said that many gangs are monsters that the rest of us created. This might be one of those cases. What is widely considered to be the most dangerous gang in America is now present and active in Missouri and there's very little that can be done to stop it.

I demand a recount. Oh, wait. I'm getting ahead of myself. There's a new safest cities list that includes two Missouri places. That's the good news. The unbelievable part is that they are located near the 'murder capital' of America and I have so many questions.

I am not a person that is anti-California, but I'm normally not in favor of making Missouri into what California has become either. That being said, I do think that Missouri needs to follow the Golden State's lead on one specific law that has just been put into place this year.
